Dabih Astrology

Fixed star Dabih has the spectral type G9 or K0, which indicates the planetary nature of the Sun and Mars. A refining influence comes from the smaller components with spectral types A0 (Venus) and B8 (Jupiter).

Sun-Mars: Fearless, in tolerant, warlike skill, over-confident, fierce, cruel, vindictive, energetic organizer, danger to the eyes, accidents, violent death. [2]

Venus-Jupiter: Refined, good, high morals, vivacious, sincere, pure, healthy, artistic, fortunate in love and marriage, help through relatives. [2]

DABIH. β Capricorni. A double (but telescopically multiple) star, orange yellow and sky blue situated in the left eye of the Goat. According to Ptolemy it is of the nature of Saturn and Venus; and, to Alvidas, of Uranus and Saturn conjoined in square to Mercury. [2]

DABIH. β Capricorni. A dwarf star of the spectral group F8 and B8. These are double stars, each double of the same spectral class. The native gains recognition, is subject to losses; the native is unfortunate, suspicious, mistrustful, reserved, subject to disappointments. [3]

Dabih has a double spectra and is of the nature of the Sun and Venus combined. [4]

What we should expect from Giedi and Dabih strong in a horoscope is that the person having them there will show great patience and trust, Faith, in a crisis, yet with a decisiveness that will take the action needed, not fudge the issue. Of course that means that such people are likely to meet with crises in plenty and, if the aspects be harsh ones, more crises than anyone would wish. If Saturn or Mars be among the planets thus involved, the strain upon the person may be too much in the end, but the benefics, Jupiter and Venus, will show such a person to be a seemingly inexhaustible tower of strength to others in difficult times. [5]

Fixed star Dabih rules the center of the calf of the left leg. [6]

Dabih governs gateways. [Song]

Asterism Niu the Ox (02♒30 to 05♒13)

People born under the sign of the Ox have a strong sense of self-esteem, are competitive, and never admit defeat. They are even more energetic and talented when facing strong competitors. They are not scheming or manipulative, but rather down-to-earth, hardworking, and methodical. They do not usually express their true feelings.

The day when the Ox constellation is in charge is not auspicious; all construction and repair work will bring disaster. If you use this day for burial or other construction, you will sell all your fields and estates and forget about your village. [2]

The six stars of the Ox constellation are the celestial gateways, governing sacrificial offerings. The two stars to its north are called “Road” (ξ² Cap) and “Gathering Fire” (α² Cap). It is also said that the uppermost star (ξ²) governs roads, the next two stars govern gateways (α², β¹), and the next three stars govern the southern regions (π, ο, ρ).

A bright and large star indicates a prosperous reign, unobstructed gateways, and high prices for cattle; anger indicates high prices for horses; movement indicates cattle disaster and many deaths; a yellow initial color indicates low prices for soybeans; red indicates worm-infested soybeans; blue indicates high prices for soybeans; a straight star indicates low prices for grains; a curved star indicates high prices.

A solar eclipse indicates war; a halo indicates worry for a yin state and war.

A lunar eclipse indicates war; a halo indicates floods, high prices for women, poor harvests, many sudden deaths of cattle, and many illnesses in children. A lunar halo in the third month of winter indicates a general amnesty within 140 days; a large star in the center of the halo indicates the execution of a great general.

If the moon violates this, there will be floods, many cattle deaths, and worry for the state.

If Jupiter invades, the feudal lords will miss their appointed times; if it remains in the palace, cattle will suffer from disease and crops will be damaged; if it is east of cattle, it will be unfavorable for children; if it is west, it will bring wind and snow; if it is north, it will cause people to flee; if it moves in retrograde, there will be fire in the palace; if it stays for 30 to 90 days, the world will be at peace and morality will be enlightened.

If Mars invades, the feudal lords will suffer from many illnesses and ministers will plot against their rulers; if it remains, crops will fail and war will break out; if it enters or exits and remains south of the Dipper, there will be a pardon.

If Saturn invades, there will be earthworks; if it remains, there will be rain and snow, and people, cattle, and horses will fall ill.

If Venus invades, the feudal lords will not communicate; if it remains, war will break out in the country; if it enters, there will be military plots and many deaths.

If Mercury invades, the army will be defeated and generals will be transferred, and ministers will plot against their rulers.

If a guest star invades and remains, cattle and horses will be expensive, and war will break out in Yue; if it exits, many cattle will die, there will be earthquakes, and horses will be expensive.

If a comet invades, Wu will divide its forces and break out; if it exits, grain will be expensive, and cattle will die. If a comet invades, the reign title will be changed, grain will be expensive, many cattle will die, Wu and Yue will break out, and there will be a ruler who will establish himself.

A meteor streaking across the sky signifies the king’s intention to change course; spring and summer bring a bountiful harvest; autumn and winter bring high grain prices; black signifies thriving cattle and horses, and tribute from border passes.

Pale white clouds stretching across the sky indicate war or mourning; red clouds also signify war; yellow or white clouds entering the sky indicate cattle will thrive; black clouds indicate cattle will die. [9]

Constellation Capricornus the Goat (00♒14 to 28♒48)

Capricorn has a great influence over human affairs portending major changes in such areas as climate and political customs. Along with the sign, the constellation is also noted as the “Mansion of Kings”. Unfavorably situated with regards to lunar eclipses, it indicated major storms, especially at sea. [10]

Sun conjunct Dabih: Reserved, suspicious and mistrustful, loss through friends, responsible public position of trust and authority. [2]

The native is steady, has opportunities to gain responsible positions. Although positive in their attitudes and their approach to their duties, they are reserved and tend to be suspicious. This is more applicable to negative nativities who will encounter obstacles on their road to success. These natives seem to seek ulterior motives, become mistrustful of others and may sustain needless losses. [3]

Allison DuBois 0°44′, Volodymyr Zelenskyy 1°23′

Moon conjunct Dabih: Successful in business but retires under a cloud, favorable for wealth, influential position but scarcely realizes ambitions, trouble through opposite sex, deserved criticism and censure. [2]

The native can find preferment in writings, large projects, government and matters dealing with the public. There could be a tendency towards radicalism with some such natives, and if so, it could engulf them. There is also a tendency towards being of a suspicious nature, mistrustful of others. These natives  can be innovative. [3]

(0°15′ orb): This causes extreme emotional problems. These natives have an extreme emotional chemistry. When this position is poorly aspected by the transiting Sun, these persons will become unstable mentally for two or three days as the aspect becomes exact. It is very difficult to live with a person with this degree, as the mental problems become unbearable at times. There is a restricted energy affecting the balance of their emotional makeup and nervous system. They do become unbalanced and are literally insane for short periods of time. Often they remain secluded as they do not relate very well with the public.

This point is affected adversely with the generation born with Pluto in the sign Leo, an opposition aspect (born 1939 to 1942). The result would be an extreme emotional obsession depending on the circumstances. Revenge, hate, or just self-destructiveness is often the result with this Pluto opposition energy. The individual simply tears down one cycle of destruction only to begin another in an entirely different direction. They generally begin the destruction within themselves first in order that they can feel the affect. They then spread this emotional destructiveness to those they can bring into their cycle – people they are able to victimize easily. They involve themselves in sadistic and masochistic games that ultimately results in more resentment so that the emotionally destructive cycle continues throughout the lifetime.

Even though there is no opposition affect by Pluto in the chart, the individual with this position is in a totally unbalanced emotional state. There is not another position that is more difficult emotionally than this fixed star degree. These natives choose this for their incarnation for the reason that there were many imbalances from previous lives that had not been worked out. The energy allows them to be irresponsible in their emotional reactions as they do not care how others are affected by their emotional outbursts. Those involved with these persons consider them irrational and insane and accept them as they are.

The best therapy for those with this position would be for them to work with others who have the same emotional imbalance, as they themselves are helped through service to others. If they chose not to be of service to others, their own emotional imbalance would become more severe, especially when the transiting Sun aspects their natal degree by conjunction, opposition or square. These natives are ambitious, but can be stubborn. They can be successful, gain recognition. There is the possibility of romantic, domestic or family problems. [3]

(0°15′ orb): These natives are concerned with strengthening their calf muscles and legs. They are the persons who would run with weights on their legs and lift weights with their feet and toes. This eventually causes problems with their legs due to the intensity that this is done. The energy is restricted, causing an interruption of blood flow to the legs. The legs should be relaxed for periods of time to allow a smooth flow of energy to return. Continued physical activity would subject the native to shin splinters. [6]

Otto von Bismarck 0°26′, Richard Ramirez 0°28′, Josef Mengele 0°59′.

Jupiter conjunct Dabih: Hypocrisy, dishonesty, high legal or ecclesiastical preferment but danger of reversal, domestic disharmony. [2]

Saturn conjunct Dabih: Melancholy, studious, recluse, restless and nervous, writer, accumulates wealth in a miserly fashion, often lives alone but danger of separation and divorce, wrapt up in some great sorrow, long life. [2]

(0°15′ orb): This causes the deterioration of the bone structure at the calf of the left leg. There is a restriction of energy at this point so that calcium is not absorbed in this part of the body. The result is a slight decay in the bone structure from the top of the calf to the bottom of the left leg near the ankle. Malformation occurs where the bone deteriorates so that small cavities appear on the skin surface where the bone has dissolved. The individual will notice a dull ache through the calf of the leg because of the lack of support from the bone structure there. A slight collision of the leg with an object can cause a crack in the bone, even though it would not be severe enough to cause a bruise. These individuals must learn how to heal themselves by working with these energies through spiritual endeavors. A simpler form of this process is biofeedback which can be understood by most people, but it works slower than spiritual healing. [6]

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard 0°28′, Donald Rumsfeld 0°37′, John Milton 0°59′, Friedrich Nietzsche 1°06′, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart 1°21′

Uranus conjunct Dabih: Strange and peculiar experiences, many ups and downs, much suffering, loses friends through deception, disappointed ambitions, losses of a Mercurial nature, unfavorable for domestic affairs, terror of death, dies after a lingering illness. [2]

(0°15′ orb): This definitely is a karmic position. This position deals with the individual’s involvement with groups. They are often found working with people with mental problems. They choose to be with groups that deal with those who are retarded, or are mentally afflicted in some way. This could include those having difficulty with speech, hearing, and eyesight. These individuals are excellent at rehabilitating other beings. However, this is an important fixed star position as individuals with this placement have chosen to do this in this life. They are given special gifts so they can work with afflicted persons effectively. Natives of this degree who repudiate their chosen karmic destiny will eventually suffer from the same affliction as those they had promised to help, generally through an accident of some kind. This is a very special position enabling these persons to help other beings so that they can atone for transgressions in a former life. [6]
