- Supreme Palace enclosure (太微垣; Tài Wēi Yuán)

on my Fathers recent passing, Moon 20Lib32. 28th and last Chinese lunar mansion
Very interesting article.
So very sorry on the loss of your Father.
It’s sad to hear of the passing of your Father, Gerald, I’m sorry for your loss.
Wow, Jamie! This adds a whole new dimension of interpretations to our repertoire!
My Sun falls in the 24th Mansion – not so good.
I’ve been studying Chinese astronomy for a few years now. I’m glad to see some more information on their system, also in your references. There are some beautiful starmaps on the Wikipedia links.
Thanks Char, and to Jamie and others, who are sharing my mourning. I did not travel to be at the death, and I know why. It would of been unlikely that the Soul Incarnation saga could be piece together without the necessary meditation in my home locale, and with the distractions to Entertain the curious, I would have spent hours with intriguing women, which doesn’t help. Anyway, modern communication assists in allowing immediate feelings and intuitions to come out, and they did.
Jamie do we use tropical, Vedic or something else to determine where these placements fall?
Gerald – I’m so sorry for your loss. My Father died in 1970 and I still mourn his loss.
All the star positions on this website are based on the tropical zodiac.
Hello, I just wanted to say I love your article Chinese lunar mansions. In the bible Christ states there is mansions in his father’s house. To read about actual mansions in heaven, that’s awesome!
Thanks, I will hold on to this article.
So glad to have stumbled on this astrology website. My only complaint is that it lacks content about Vedic astrology, the Hindu star system, for now.
The Chinese lunar mansion system also maps onto the 12 Chinese zodiac signs, the 24 solar terms (transition of the four seasons), and has parallels to the western zodiac system.

Perhaps when we get our vaccines Jamie will post more Cevid astrology.
Hello, I am pretty sure that the 亢’s planet should be Venus.
These 28 mansion belongs to 4 groups of 7. with the order of planet: Jupiter, Venus, Saturn Sun, Moon, Mars, and Mercury, which is the “Chaldean order” or the order of a week.
Which chinese lunar lodge classification did you use exactly? There are many ways to define their beginning and their endings in the chinese tradition as well as in modern time?
Did you use Walters? Mathews? Gangooly? Huai Nan Zi? Ming Yun Ta Kwan ? Volguine? Or did you use the positions of the star projected on the ecliptic? In which way? Druva or perpendicular?
