The Twenty-Eight Arabic Lunar Mansions are part of the Arabic astrological system. The Arabic Moon Mansions are called Manzils, which comes from the Arabic word manzil منازل (house).

These mansions correspond to the longitudes along the ecliptic that the Moon crosses during its 27.32-day journey around the Earth. They reflect the movement of the Moon through a sidereal month rather than the Sun in a tropical year.

The Arabic Manzils are similar to others forms of lunar stations used in astrology including the Chinese Xiù and the Vedic, or Hindu Nakshatras.
