Terebellum Astrology
Fixed star Terebellum has the spectral type G5, indicating the planetary nature of the Sun.
TERREBELUM. ω Sagittarius. The chief star of the “four-sided figure in the tail” of Sagittarius mentioned by Ptolemy. Of the nature of Venus and Saturn. It gives a fortune but with regret and disgrace, cunning, a mercenary nature and repulsiveness. [1]
TERREBELUM. ω Sagittarius. An orange-red star. Spectral class M3. This star imparts to its natives leadership ability, ambition, perseverance, success; the native is self-seeking, subject to despair and regrets, self-destruction, violence. [2]
Fixed star Terebellum rules three inches below the right knee. [3]
Constellation Sagittarius
The following are Ptolemy’s remarks: “The stars at the point of the arrow in Sagittarius have influence similar to that of Mars and the Moon: those on the bow, and at the grasp of the hand, act like Jupiter and Mars . . . those in the waist and in the back resemble Jupiter, and also Mercury moderately: those in the feet, Jupiter and Saturn.”… By the Kabalists Sagittarius is associated with the Hebrew letter Vau and the 6th Tarot Trump “The Lovers.” [1]
It is a fortunate and fruitful constellation indicating events pertaining to kings or a large portion of mankind. [4]
Sagittarius was the House of Jupiter, that planet having appeared here at the Creation, although this honor was shared by Aquarius and Leo. Nor did Jupiter monopolize its possession, for it also was the domicile of Diana. Thus the constellation was known as Dianae Sidus. It inclined to fruitfulness, a character assigned to it as far back as the Babylonian inscriptions; and was a fortunate sign. Yellow was the color attributed to it, or the peculiar green sanguine. (0°30′ orb): This is not an easy position. It creates an extremely aggressive individual who is ready to take over any situation whenever the opportunity presents itself. They seize every opening that would enable them to be in a top position. Their true love is large machinery, and in the military, they can be found around tanks or something equivalent, that can go over rocks and crevices and around mountain areas. They become very aggressive in nature and will get rid of anyone who may get in their way. They will pull another down who tries to keep them from reaching their goal, even if it takes deceit to accomplish it. They do exceedingly well in positions that require aggressive or militant behavior. These persons are not generally the well-educated type, so that they seldom reach the very top position, but they do get very close to the top for the most part. This is a frustration for them in addition to the fact that there would be nobody left to pull down after they reach the highest level their ability takes them. This can apply also to a female with this fixed star degree; however, they go about it in a more devious manner. In both the chart of a male or female, they can develop severe headaches due to the frustration when they are being threatened or if another is attempting to pull them down in status. The headache would be felt from the top of the forehead to the back of the head. [3]

Uranus conjunct Terebellum (0°30′ orb): This is a strange energy point. This planet causes many conflicts in that these individuals can become very popular or very unpopular very quickly. Here is the person climbing up the ladder of success when all of a sudden, the ladder is pulled out from under them. It is generally due to a shakeup in their organization and is not due to personal reasons. It is generally a change in the structure of the company or organization so that they are reduced in rank to accommodate a vacant position. The change could also result in a sudden promotion due to an unexpected vacancy. They are always involved when there is a change in the organization and seem to be the ones chosen to make the change. The changes are seldom made smoothly. [3]
