Iran Horoscope

There are two Iranian horoscopes commonly used by mundane astrologers. The first is set for the moment Ayatollah Khomeini returned to Tehran on February 1, 1979. The other national horoscope for Iran is the proclamation of the Islamic Republic of Iran on April 1, 1979. Recent events make this a good time to check the validity of each horoscope. The details for the two Iranian horoscopes come from Nick Campion’s Book of World Horoscopes. ^[1]

The transits from the three events are listed under the two horoscopes of Iran below. Only conjunctions and oppositions under one-degree orb are used.

Summary

The most significant of the three events tested is the start of the Iran-Iraq War. The transits to the Islamic Republic horoscope are excellent for such an event and way better than for the Khomeini horoscope. Although both horoscopes seem to reflect the nature of Iran, the best option is to use only one horoscope for a nation. I believe the Islamic Republic horoscope is the best choice for a working mundane horoscope of Iran.
